Ethiopian speaker praises Sudanese- Ethiopian relations

Aug 24, 2006 (ADDIS ABABA) — The delegation of the Council for International People’s Friendship (CIPF), currently visiting Addis Ababa and led by Farouq Al-Bushra, has met with the Speaker of Ethiopian Parliament, Ambassador Tchome Togas.

The speaker welcomed the delegation and hailed the progress of the Ethio – Sudanese relations at both the official and people’s levels.

The delegation also met with the Chairman of the Higher Council of Muslim Affairs and the Patriarch of Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

The delegation has met with several Ethiopian officials and people’s leaderships.
