Four countries approve nominated Sudanese ambassadors
Sept 3, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — Foreign Ministry announced that four countries have approved the nomination of Sudanese ambassadors; the countries are France, Korea, Japan and Irak.
The nominated envoys are Ahmed Hamid al-Faki as Sudan’s Ambassador to France; Mohamed Salaheddin Abbas as Sudan’s Ambassador to Korea; Steven Kiliona Wondu as Sudan’s Ambassador to Japan; and Mirghani Al-Nour Gawish as Sudan’s Ambassador to Irak.
Steven Wondu is one of the sixteen SPLM ambassadors appointed last May.
The newly appointed ambassadors were sworn in last Tuesday in presence of the Sudanese president Omer al-Bsahir at the Friend ship Hall.
