JARCH MANAGEMENT GROUP, LTD. ACQUIRES USA’S JARCH CAPITAL’S 2003 BLOCK B CONTRACT WITH THE SPLM
September 6, 2006 — Jarch Management Group Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has acquired the 2003 Block B contract, with the SPLM, from New York-based Jarch Capital, LLC. This transaction, along with our contracts with the SSDF, will solidify our claims on Block B in Jonglei, South Sudan.
Given the current upheaval n the Government of South Sudan (GOSS), with the SPLM splitting into three factions and with major military defections from the SPLA to the SSDF, the Company feels confident that our contracts will be valuable and will be upheld and protected.
Both General Gordon Kong, head of the SSDF, and General Gabriel Tang, head of operations of the SSDF, have assured the Company that they will protect our Company and make sure that no other company operates in Block B. These assurances give us great comfort that we will be successful especially given General Gabriel Tang’s immense influence in the Jonglei region.
Furthermore, with our new acquisition, we will continue with any legal proceedings against the GOSS/SPLM based on the contract they signed with Jarch Capital in 2003. As a non-US entity, we have greater flexibility in the court systems around the globe.
Given the wide base of support in the South for our Company and given that we have signed an equitable contract whereby the Company pays royalties, the South gets a majority of profit oil, whereby the Company is required to build infrastructure in the South and hire and train Sudanese to work on their land, the Company is not surprised that we have grassroot support. It is our motto, “Its your land, your oil” that is serving the Company and our Southern partners well.
Finally, the Company has composed a Board of Advisers that will be announced soon to help guide us. These advisers include members of both SPLM and SSUDA/SSDF as well as other international advisers.
We look forward to a successful and bright future for the people of South Sudan.
