The South Sudan United Democratic Alliance (SSUDA) Information Secretary Accused Kiir’s Government Of Indiscriminate Torture

September 26, 2006 — The newly emergent of terrorist and torture by the Government of Southern Sudan under SPLM and its leader Salva Kiir Mayardit accompanied by the most appalling urban bloodshed, by mass indiscriminate executions of tens of thousands in equatorial region, South Sudan particularly in Torit, Yei, day and night, without any charge or trial only because the victims are not a members of SPLM. And for the first time in the history of South Sudanese people, there was a mass exodus of Southerners into indiscriminate executions in all directions.

As historical records clearly indicate, the power grab by SPLM of army forces from the SPLA fighters and the toppling of dictatorial leadership were the beginning of massive repression of Southerners by their own successive leaders – by their own compatriots, with a total terrorization of the entire population of South Sudan that persists to the present day. The present of dictatorial leadership of SPLM led government caused an internal and external conflicts and wars became a common phenomenon in every corner in South Sudan and the impact of periodic drought, famine and lose of souls began to be felt more heavily. It is also true that the upheaval of the “New Sudan” agenda and its consequences have changed the face of South Sudan itself paid heavy prices, including its decline in status within the international community from a highly respected people to a beggar, and from a stable land to a battleground of newly emerging fronts and hostile groups.

Most Southerners today, the generation who had been in the forefront of the struggle must stand up to confront a tribal Machiavellian government in Juba , because we all look back to the SPLM and its agenda the so called “New Sudan” with pain and regret for their inhumane role , and profound nostalgia regarding its rein. Recently, the systematic killings and atrocious crimes being inflicted and continuing upon our people (equatoria) by SPLA forces under self appointee’s leader and his stooge governors Mr. Kiir Mayardit leadership.

The South Sudan United Democratic Alliance (SSDUA) demand the followings individual to be release immediately with out delay from detention and torture SPLA camps:
