Jarch Group applauds General Paulino Matip

October 5, 2006 — Ever since signing our agreements in 2004, Jarch Management Group (JMG) has always held General Paulino Matip in the highest regard, with the utmost respect as a man of honor and a man of his word. It has always been JMG’s goal to see South Sudan united. As such, JMG fully supports General Paulino’s move of joining the South Sudan Defence Forces (SSDF) with the Sudanese Peoples’ Liberation Army (SPLA) in order to have a complete and powerful force for South Sudan.

JMG wants to congratulate General Paulino for his work in uniting the South and all Southerners, regardless of tribe. The General has accomplished this in less than 10 months. As Deputy Commander in Chief with Salva Kiir as his sole superior, the SSDF is now completely together with the SPLA.

JMG has always been for a united and prosperous South Sudan. Those people who continue to stay with Khartoum are now part of the North and cannot be considered Southerners.

As in the past, we expect great things from General Paulino Matip in the months and years to come. We look forward to congratulating the General, in person, in Juba, shortly.

JMG will continue to expand it board and we will announce soon our newest members that will show the South’s unity. Along with General Paulino, JMG expects to do great things in the South for the people of the South. We are as confident as ever that JMG will be part of the South’s oil exploration and production.
