Siemens, Sudanese MobiTel Sudan signs 20 million Euros deal
Oct 8, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — Siemens Communications, one of the world’s largest communications providers announced today that it has signed a global frame agreement with MobiTel Sudan, part of Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) Group, to supply 2.5G radio wireless infrastructure in a deal worth 20 million Euros.
The products are equipped with the latest GSM as well as eGRPS (EDGE) features, which provide the consumer with high quality voice and high speed data on the latest Siemens platform of 2.5 G, BSS products including HC BSC/TRAU and BS240XL.
