Peace negotiators to sign accord on wealth sharing on 19 December

Sources close to the [peace] negotiation [venue] have revealed that First Vice-President Ali Uthman Muhammad Taha, and the leader of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement [SPLM] Dr John Garang, will sign a framework agreement by initialisation regarding wealth sharing issue before next Friday [19 December].
The sources told Al-Sahafah that the negotiation atmosphere was characterized by positive indications.
Meanwhile, the first vice-president and the SPLM leader have held two separate meetings, first at 11.30 am until 1.30 p.m. [local time]. The sources added that the two leaders entered into a second meeting which started at 9.00 p.m. last night and continued until late hours in the night.
The sources said both meetings focused only on the issue of wealth sharing.
