North Korea greets Sudan independence day
Dec 31, 2006 (PYONGYANG) — Kim Yong-nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a message of greetings to the Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir on 31 December on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the independence of the country.
In the belief that the bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation would consolidate and develop in the mutual interests, said the official North Korean news agency (KCNA).
The message wished the president of Sudan greater success in his work for the stability and development of the country.
