Al-Bashir appoints new tourism minister for southern states

KHARTOUM, Dec 20, 2003 (SUNA) — John Angol has taken oath of office before the president of the republic, Gen Umar al-Bashir, as state minister at the Federal Ministry of Health and Kwaj Makwai as Minister of Tourism and Environment Conservation at the Coordination Council of the Southern States.

During the ceremony of oath-taking at the Republican Palace Saturday President Al-Bashir has affirmed the importance of the coming stage for boosting peace and development and provision of services to the citizens.
