Sudanese minister ends one-week visit to Egypt

Jan 20, 2007 (CAIRO) — Sudanese Federal Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges, Engineer Kol Maniang Jok left here todday, ending a week-long visit to Egypt.

During his visit, Jok conferred with Egyptian Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Mahmoud Abu-Zayd on cooperation in the fields of irrigation and agricultural development.

The Sudanese minister also went on a tour of the High Dam, the Egyptian MENA reported.

He also visited water research and training centres in the 6th of October City, as well as the irrigation museum in Al-Qanatir District of Cairo.
