Sudanese First Vice-President visits Qatar Tuesday

Jan 22, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — The first vice-president and the president of southern Sudan government, Salva Kiir Mayardit will on Tuesday morning leave for Qatar for a two-day official visit.

Salva Kiir will discuss bilateral ties and ways of fostering peace, development, and the reconstruction process in southern Sudan, with the Qatari leadership.

He will be accompanied by Presidential Adviser Dr Mansur Khalid and Investment Minister Malik Agar, State Minister at the Presidency Telar Reng Deng, State Minister at the Foreign Ministry Ali Karti.
