Ethiopia, Sudan, Yemen to hold summit Monday
ADDIS ABABA, Dec 26, 2003 (MENA) — A two-day summit of the heads of state or government of Ethiopia, Sudan and Yemen will convene on next Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The ministry told Ethiopian News Agency that the leaders of the three countries will deliberate on trilateral cooperation in the political, economic and social fronts.
The leaders of the three countries are also expected to dwell on issues of regional peace and security, the ministry said.
A trade and culture exhibition organized in connection with the summit will be inaugurated on Saturday and remain open to public for a fortnight, it indicated.
