Iranian president to visit Sudan next week
Feb 24, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will arrive here next Thursday 1 March on a two-day visit during which he will meet official, diplomatic, scientific and religious sides.
As part of his political and media programme, the Iranian president will hold a seminar at Al-Sadaqah Hall, meet Sufi leaders, university lecturers, intellectuals and writers.
During these activities the Iranian president will be talking about all topical issues at Arab, Islamic and international levels. He will also be focusing on the issue of Iran’s nuclear programme and issues of security in the Gulf and the Arab and Islamic world in general.
The Iranian president is expected to be accompanied by a high level political and media delegation. His visit is further expected to be widely covered by the media.
