Sudanese-German ties to witness “substantial progress”, minister

KHARTOUM, Jan 05, 2004 (SUNA) — Foreign Minister Dr Mustafa Uthman Isma’il expressed hope that the Sudanese-German relations would see substantial progress, referring to the role of the parliamentary efforts in this regard.

This came when Dr Isma’il met at his office Sunday with the German parliamentary delegation participating in the celebration marking the golden jubilee of the National Assembly. The minister said Sudan is keen to promote ties with international community, especially the EU.

The visiting parliamentarians appreciated the current developments in Sudan.
