Chinese special envoy arrives in Khartoum
April 6, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — Special Envoy of the Chinese Government Zhai Juan arrived in Khartoum on Friday for a three-day official visit in Sudan.
During the visit, the Chinese envoy is to hold talks with high-ranking Sudanese officials on the situation in the western Sudanese region of Darfur and other issues of common concerns.
Zhai will also pay a visit to refugee camps in Darfur and to hold meetings with local officials to get first-hand informationon the situation there.
