Sudanese interior minister visits Egypt for talks

KHARTOUM, Jan 09, 2004 (MENA) — Sudanese Interior Minister Abd-al-Rahim Husayn headed on Friday for Cairo upon invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Habib al-Adli to hold talks with Egyptian officials on bilateral ties.

In statements before leaving Khartoum, the Sudanese minister highlighted the significance of the two countries’ relations.

The Sudanese official expressed hope they could conclude a number of agreements to facilitate free movement of citizens between the two neighbouring countries and in the field of police training.
