Chadian president postpones visit to Sudan
June 27, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — The visit of the Chadian President, Idriss Deby, which was scheduled to begin Wednesday 27 June, was postponed for a time to be fixed later.
The press office at the Sudanese presidency stated that the programme of the Chadian President’s visit would include talks between the two parties on joint border and Darfur issues.
the bilateral talks also will review the implementation of the agreements which were signed by Sudan and Chad in Riyadh and Tripoli, as well as a visit of President Deby to Al-Basha’ir Port and Marawi Dam.
