Egyptian deputy premier hold talks with visiting Sudanese opposition leader

CAIRO, Jan 23, 2004 (MENA) — The leader of Sudan’s opposition National Democratic Alliance, Muhammad Uthman Mirghani, hailed on Thursday Egypt’s efforts in cementing integration between the two neighbouring countries.

Mirghani said the latest Mubarak-Bashir summit came to enhance integration between the two Egyptian and Sudanese peoples, which was represented in the freedom of movement and rights of citizenship.

His statements came during a meeting with Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Yusuf Wali.
