Eritrea denies US allegations it supports terrorists

September 18, 2007 (MOGADISHU, Somalia)–Eritrean Information Minister Ali Abdu Tuesday denied U.S. allegations his country supports terrorists, adding Eritrea isn’t worried about U.S. gathering evidence to determine whether to declare the Horn of Africa nation a “state sponsor of terrorism.”

“It is ridiculous,” Abdu said Tuesday. “We have fought terrorists long before Sept. 11.

“We don’t live on their (the U.S.) handouts; it makes no difference, we don’t care,” he said. “They always say might is right, but we say right is might.”

On Sept. 9, the top U.S. official for Africa, Jendayi Frazer, said Eritrea could be added to a list of nations that sponsor terrorism.

    Hi,

Who sponsors Bin Laden and his Al-Quida in Afganistan to fight the Soviets?

Who was building up Saddam Hussein and allying with him, during the Iran and Irag war?

The question is, who is the real sponsor of terrorism and creats a mess in our world?
Is that their strategy in order to achieve their target, namely to dominate the world.

At the moment they are going to create a mess and havoc in our continent Africa. We Africans have no a say and no interestes in our house.

It is high time to US and other concerned bodies to list Eritrea in the list of state sponsor terrorism. This country has been highly affecting the peace and the on going development activities of the horn of African countries particularly Ethiopia.Unless this measure is taken soon as much as possible, Eritrea will continue being the most fertile ground for many of International terroist groups. The Eritrean information minister are joking on his country….how can he said that we don’t care.Is really Eritreal not make any difference being in the list of State sponsor terrorism?????
