Sudan denies giving oil concessions to Bulgarian firms
KHARTOUM, Jan 30, 2004 (Sudan Tribune) — The Ministry of Energy and Mining has denied that the Bulgarian group Technoexport which visited the country recently, has acquired any oil or investment concessions in any blocks of Sudan’s oil plan.
The Ministry said data on Blocks 12, 13, 14 were still offered to companies for tender bids.
Sudanese newspaper Al-Ray al-Amm published last week that The Bulgarian company had signed oil contracts for Block 10, 11, 13, 14 ,15, in northern Sudan.
