SPLM accused of raiding NCP offices in South Sudan

October 18, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — The National Congress Party (NCP) accused the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) of raiding the offices of the party in Bahr al-Ghazal states.

Ali Tamim Fartag
Ali Tamim Fartag
Ali Tamim Fartag, a presidential advisor and deputy chairman of NCP’s southern Sudan sector told the official SUNA that SPLM member seized the NCP premises in Northern and Western Bahr al-Ghazal States. “The SPLA changed the offices to a place where cards are being played after the office’s contents were scattered,” he said.

Fartag further said that the head of Raja County who is a SPLM official, Yussif Hassan, arrested the Raja court judge in order to bar the judge from issuing a ruling in a case in which a northerner challenged the governor over piece of land set aside for businessmen in the town.

Fartag added that the violations by SPLM in south also included the storming of NCP offices by demonstrators in Awil town and its seizure for two days during which the offices were converted into an entertainment area where cards were played after the offices had been destroyed.

The 11 October decision to withdraw from the national unity government followed months of acrimony between the SPLM and the NCP. Each side accusing the other of failing to follow the peace agreement.

As sign of palpable tension between the two peace partner and growing mistrust, NCP members in southern Sudan complain often from mistreatment and obstruction by the members of the ruling party in southern Sudan, the SPLM. Also, SPLM members blame the NCP of unlawful detention, the case of Mr. Yien Mathew remains highly followed by the SPLM leadership.

SPLM accused of raiding NCP offices in South Sudan
To begin with, I am feeling totally obliged and compelled to reply this baseless and founded on lies allegation that the National Congress Party’s (NCP’) premises in Northern bahr el Ghazal State were raided and turned into a place for playing cards by SPLM/A.
This is not “holding any water” and it is just an agitation to the system. What I know so far and everyone in Aweil will bear witness to me, is that the premises has been a playing cards ground and we as people of Aweil play there together in harmony regardless of our political affiliation(parties). However, the truth is that, there was a quarrel among the players themselves and this was solved by police independently.
Therefore,as for the sake of peace, we SPLM/A have seen this as a police case purely and it was settled by the police.

In addition, people of Northern/Western Bahr el Ghazal States are complaining that you, Ali Tamim Fartag, has sold their land to Falata Ambororo and now they are asking for clarification on this matter. Because the Falata are saying they have bought one County of Aroyo in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State and the whole Western Bahr el Ghazal State land. This has caused a tribal fight between the local community and Falata Ambororo.
So we need your reply to this issue rather than causing confusion on other things.

May I view out my points to Ali Tamim Fartag,When talking of an issue/problem,be striaghtforward and not bitting around. The Raja issue we are not aware of bt the Aweil one was student demostration, tell me how many times did students do that in Kartoum or any other part of Sudan even in the world with destruction.Do you me SPLM will allow this to happen while they are the ruling party?I am requesting you Sudanese to be careful when passing messages media.Mind you are witch dogs for the rights of the people. So just eat your money peacefull in NCP,but the blood of the vetetrians will coil all of you and your families.

    To:Mr Ali Tamim Fartak

SPLM is a ruling national political party in South Sudan like national congress party in Khartoum. So, it is not true that SPLM has raided NCP offices in the South. We all believe in SPLM and we know SPLM has a nice and good face to all Sudanese political forces.

So, please do not attempt again to do what you had done during the civil war in Bhar Elgazal. I think you are old enough, so keep silen and wait counting your hours and minutes to report your soul to the great devil instead of reporting detrimental statements to your diabolic people of NCP. I know you are seeking hard another path to bring conflic in the region.

Iam very! very sorry and will continue being sorry for the government to have people like Ali Tamim serving nothing but to triggers problems. Is that the much your mouth could tell Mr.,to put blames on those parties you think you donn,t belong…..and to the general citizens of the Sudan call it New Sudan please, should you always be aware that such things shouldn,t happen here in the South unless in the North. All are against the SPLM/A objectives of making Sudan the better.
Tamim the arabised junub, should you please put in mind that, if you were brought to represent the NCP in the South because of such act, then take caution and make the position for serving people rather than sitting in the office waiting to scandalize SPLM/A.If nothing to do at all then keep your mouth shot.Should you please carry your own cross.

Hey Ali, why are you worried for what happened to NCP offices in Bahr el Ghazel States alone, I see you’re taking part which is untrue. You are presidential advisor which is actually a challenge for you to keep quite when the same case happened to SPLM offices in Khartoum I never heard of you talking about it. What does it mean? You should respect your dignity and professional otherwise, I disqualified you for the post.

    Thank you,

    Yirol boy

Why ali tamim fartag don’t ask himself about the colour of his body and his origin and where he is living now?

People like ali tamim look gay in my view. He is married to omar not an advisor. He is now complaining about the NCP offices raided by SPLM and he has forgotten what was done to SPLM offices in Khartuom last month?

Is there any prove that SPLM have raided the NCP offices in South Sudan? It is a pure lie, it is another twist to the strike of SPLM withdrawal of its ministers form GNU. Tell ali tamim to shut up. We are all African and if some of us forgotten our heritage, then you stick with your marry and don’t disturb the rest.

You those who associated yourselves with beshir seem to be the true believers of Islam. It is all nonesense.

SPLM never done anything wrong! Our blackness will judge people like mr.ali
