Chinese FM, UN chief discuss Darfur, Myanmar on phone

October 20, 2007 (BEIJING) — Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Saturday discussed the situation in Sudan’s Darfur region and in Myanmar during a telephone conversation, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

No further details about the discussion provided by the Chinese authorties.
