    Unacceptable behavour!

The shooting of police officers by the Joint Integrated Unit (JIU) is unacceptable under the “rule of law”. Killing a police officer is like killing a head of state. Police is the most respected body in the developed world. South Sudan government need to be very serious about this behavour of soldiers in the South. Civilians protection was one of the SPLM objectives to fight war in the Sudan. It is not good for soldiers to be above the law, it was good during the war time that people were killed like animals but not now when we have attained our peace.

People who use such action should be given a full discipline by the authority. It was not matter whoever was killed, whether he was a chief officer of JIU, a legal process is the best way to go. It will be very hard for those who don’t have guns powers in the South to speak up against any illegal actions like this incident.

If South Sudan authority don’t tighten their rules, our country will be like Somalia in some years to come! People should have that respect of government and do things according to government regulations. To make it works, the head of JIU and the soldiers who commit such action should go through a well organize investigation of which the victims family will not repeat the statement of tribulism. It is totally unccetable for a soldier to kill a police officer.

It is really hard to bring people into the inside of the real world. In the developed country a person who commit such action should go through legal process of which he will remember for the rest of his life. South Sudan government should have rules that are not compromising to those who always like to commit crimes and get away with them.

I don’t believe whether a country where power is on the barrel of the gums is going to succeed.

Three police officers killed in South Sudan Yambio
I was really shock by the news of three sinor officers killed in Yambio. I never knew any country in the world without police because the police are the forces tasked to cater for our lives and properties and to preserve role of law in the civilized world. killing the innocent three officers are unacceptable under any cirumistance. and I stronly call upon the people of Yambio to mantian security in order to save some innocent lives. and I called upon the authroities concerned to bring those responsible to justice. southeren we have just came out from war why there are some people who want us to go back to square one and fight each other and if we are doing so are we not serving the agenda of those people who are anti south and CPA. please southerners be responsible we did not take gun to aganist our brothers. if you claim to be a freedom fighter then you miss the target for you have turn your gun aganist your brother, whom you said you want to liberate from injustice, margnlization, etc. but with this incidnet it has become clear that some of us were fighting for nothing because nobody will accept such unresponssible behaviour.
lastly I send my condolances to the families of the late officers and may Almighty God rest thier soul in peace.

The incident at Hai Kuba in Yambio on Friday 2 November,2007,appeared more personel than people could speculate.Such instances do occur among soldiers of any kind.If women lovers happened to be arrested, then that a case out of indespline and misconduct behaviours most seen among soldiers. This morning Wednesday 6 November,2007,Col.Abuod Abdalla was buried at 11:00 am.in Juba .A muslim ceremony for burial was led by sheikh Daffalla, the Governor of Central Equatoria State (CES)Maj.Gen.Clement Wani Konga urged citizens in Juba and else where to remain calm.Governor Konga stressed that as speculation rated by people’s own observations on the JIU ranks of SPLA units dominated by the Dinka. Before the final investigations, people started to some extend raising emotions to the Dinkas. All that can also recall the past bitter memories of 1983 (Kokora)ie separating Southern Sudan into three major regions of Equatoria,Upper Nile and Bahr el Ghazal regions respectively.
He pionted out that the traitors if cought shall be brought to face justice.

The Yambio tragedy is indistinctive and devastating. The Joint Integrated Unit are expected to protect the CPA, unfortunately turning their blind eyes to the civilian police is unforgivable.Police and the army are two separate entities who reports to different departments at the same time. In this case investigations are for police whereas defending the civil population is for the army and if their duties includes investigation then it should be stated and renowned to the public. These culprits should punished to the maximum of the law no matter who they are. Let’s wait for the probe of this investigation than our reaction will follow thereafter.
