November 8, 2007 (JUBA) — The bodies of south Sudan Police Services (SSPS) Brigadier Michael Sebit and Lt Colonel Abbud Abdalla were laid to rest in separate services in Juba. Hundreds of mourners attended the funerals including the Governor of Central Equatoria State, Clement Wani Konga.
Konga, speaking at the funeral of Lt. Colonel Abdalla, said he was shocked at the incident and urged citizens to remain calm. He added later that, “…the tragedy should not be associated with tribalism, but a mere act of indiscipline.”
The two officers were killed along with Major Joseph Armino on 4 November at their police station in Yambio, western Equatoria State by soldiers of the Joint Integrated Unit (JIU) from the SPLA.
Deputy-Governor of the Western Equatoria State, Col. Joseph Ngere Paciko told radio Mirayah, that the investigation team is now questioning the JIU, the police and witnesses over the incident. He added that the perpetrators have not yet been arrested.
Five JIU soldiers came to the police station demanding the release of persons detained in connection with the killing of another JUI soldier on 3 November and following a heated argument the three SSPS officers were killed.

Jesus Christ!!!This is unacceptable and should never be whatever it takes. My!The Police officers who were killed in Yambio died in the line of duty. Just why, this should happen is hard to understand. It is a very difficult thing to happen when we are, trying hard as we may, to forge a common bond among us Southern Sudanese.A bond that seems not to exist were it not for the external enemies. My tears flow for Yambio that it has to be once again a scene of such horrendous and senseless killing. There should be seen to be justice done and justice it must happen. While, it is not right to associate the killings to tibal undertones, it is very difficult to dismiss it from the minds of those who have had to live with the pain of the blood bath in an otherwise innocent….very innocent town. I can, only pray for the repose of the fallen heroes souls and courage of endurance for the families, friends, and comrades and the entire southern sudanese community of good will. In my heart, I find it difficult to differentiate this act from what the Jallabas can do..this is unacceptable and more painful that it has been done by someone shamelessly calling himself an SPLA. Just get the JIU out and the investigations should not stop at the scene of the crime culprits but further to those chrged with command of the JIU..heads must roll really!

The Invassion of Equatoria after the CPA!
Dear Santos Imatongas,
The real Equatorian shall not revenge as it was not an intension by fellow Dinka who killed the SPLA Police Officers in Yambio. Remeber these guys who were killed are not Equatorian but the SPLA Officers.
Santos! Dinkas are people like you interms of human identity. I shall be sorry for your thoughts against the killing of our SPLA Officers,please mind that not all Dinkas are said to be killing but these are the guys who misbehave in army like other Equatorian human in army.
Yes!!……Dinka were the freedom fighters for all Equatorian just to mentioned the few. The invasion of Maridi 1992, Yei 1997,Torit 2002, Kaya 1997 and many more can you please mention the Equatorian Commander who took a lead against the military attack and plan towards those towns…Dinka were there of which I can’t mention.
Clement Wani the current Governor of Central Equatoria was a Militia in eary 1995 where he did alot of atacked towards Dinka in Yirol, Awerial and thousand of inocent Atuot Coummunities but still he didn’t finished Dinka Yirol and it was only Yirol fighting him, if we were to mentioned Rumbek, Gogrial, Awiel and Tonj plus Bor then HE Governor Wani would have not been there now but Dinka are still with him.
We are commited to our commitment of the SPLA/SPLM since its creation but Equatorian Profesors, Lectures, Doctors as you mentioned defected and joined Mudukurat and back to Dinka for unity.
HE.Governor of Western Equatoria Samuel Abu John was just brough recently by Dinka to joined in early 1994 where was staying in DR.Congo the former Zaire. Samuel Abu John was staying in a certain village near border of Yambio and DR.Congo. Mentioned which attack he ever made against Mudukurat nor Dinka. I respect him becuase of his knowlege and commitement to SPLA/SPLM
Santos! I have alot to say but I discovered that am chating with Equatorian who changed their Identities during the revolution of The SPLA/SPLM of 1983 – 2005 in Sudan. Equatorian have changed the Equatorian Uganda, Equatorian Kenya and Equatorian DR.Congo and Equatorian Central Africa Republic. Dinka haven’t changed their I dentity because they believed they are liberiating South Sudan for Southern Sudanese including Greater Equatoria.
We are here for peace but not for War. If Equatorian seems to revenge then we are ready for it after 2011.If Dinka becomes bad after the CPA then its ok.
If Dinka Fights Equatoria we shall take you back to Uganda, Congo and Kenya.
South Sudan is for Equatorian, Bhar el Ghazal and Upper Nile but not for Dinka.

G’day Santos, do you now feel like a hero? what a shame. I’m a proud Dinka and it is Jieng not jenge, asshole. Get the name right. Anyway, Equatorian, Dinka or Nuer we all the same, we are not born to rule as such, it just happened that Dinkas have the tendency to put the well being of others before themselves, sound general but that is the common rule of thumb in my culture. So if people like us to lead we we will do it and if they don’t we will do it anyway. The only thing Equatorians need to do is to quit being political prostitutes, switching sides like ping pong. I swear to God, you better be warn do not a waken a sleeping giant. I’ve had enough of few rotten individuals who can not get out in the open and present their case. I do not believe what I am reading. Are you the writer above Southerners? Dinka? What you called Equatorian?

Because i do not believe there are still Dinka (jeng)or what you call Equatorian alive who can write such rubbish. You are all agents of doom and you are not crying for the brothers we lost in the line of duty, but you are both celebrating their death simply because it fulfill your interest which you had in your mind before the incident. Who love death?
Your Dinka and Equatorian statements have no place. The people of Southern Sudan have lost great sons and daughters in the line of duty. The law is taking it course and anybody who wants to help should come forward to help the investigation so that those who committed this useless killings are brought to book and such incident should never repeat itself again in our country. We have lost many people already to this war imposed on us.

Is where anybody who logon to Internet gives themselves names from particular region and claims he or she belong to that region. Even Arabs have logon different website pretending to be Deng of Dinka or Lado of Bari… and of course our blind brothers like some of you reply to these tricks whole heartily that they produce what the Arabs wants them to do.. I do not want to say there are no individuals from Dinka who took the law into their hand and they did many a times.. but this should not be taken as the whole Dinka unless you are an Arab. Likewise, individuals from Bari, Azande, Kakwa , Nuer or member of any tribe in Southern Sudan can not be taken as the whole of that tribe or ethnic group… .
Do you know that the commander of JIU forces is a great son of Bari? He is a man whom many never knew he was a Bari simply because he was known for his profession and not tribe… General Thomas Cirillo Sowaka is known for his operation of Kapoeta against the Arab and the siege of Juba in the 1990 where he risk his live to safe few Nuer, Dinka, Anyuak, Shilluk, Azande, Bari and many others.. This is just to prove to those who are telling lies above.. they do not know what they are preaching… it is also a proof that they are not from Southern Sudan, because no body in SPLA today who do not know the participation of sons and daughters of Equatoria region…
Non of the writers above is a Southerner.. There are no people in Yirol or Awerial or Bor who could be that foolish as to talk in such senseless way… they can only be people who wish that Mundri community should fight against each other..
Before you write, stop and think of yourself and the people around you. how do you feel after writing all the lies you post in the internet cafe in Juba, Yei, Maridi, Rumbek or Yirol?
