SPLM leader sacks two senior officials

December 3, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese First Vice President and Chairman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Salva Kiir Mayadrit, issued a decree removing two SPLM officials from their positions as well as from the membership of the Movememnt.

The official Sudan News Agency (SUNA) said that Kiir suspended Telar Deng former state minister at the presidency and newly appointed minister of state at the Ministry of Justice and Aleu Ayieny Aleu former state minister for the Interior from SPLM membership permanently.

SUNA said the decision was taken in light of investigations made into a plot by Deng and Aleu to overthrow Kiir from SPLM leadership.

Yesterday a senior SPLM official told Sudan Tribune that Kiir will propose a cabinet reshuffle in the government of National Unity.

Bravo! Bravo! H.E Mayardit…Bravo! Bravo! SPLM Leadership…for the truth and just to prevails in what we’ve been struggling for the last two decades, therefore, I appreciated the decision taken on political nude that people like Telar, Aleu and many others who are meandering with dirty enticement, must to be regimented to maximum. Hold on with that spirit H.E…and success must be be your way all the times to bring us out of that mess, where many triators are yet fuelling it to deteriorate…but they will never never win with their wicked heart & interests of petty cash of NCP. May Supreme nature oversee you.

    thanks

Thank you Mr First vice president and the chairman of the SPLM.

Aleu, Telar and others who are still at large are against the marginalised people march for freedom. They are now members of NCP and their objectives are to disintergrate SPLM.

Watchout for their moves even after you have dismissed them. They will even become more stromnger after their dismissal. NCP will receive them warmly and give their more money to feed their families and finance anti-SPLM activities in the South.

Telar Deng is a long time opponent of SPLM/A since its formation. He was member of Riekism in the 1990s. He is a man known to have no political stability. He is always on any side of politics that will satisfied his own interests.

Aleu Ayieny is a victim of his own greediness. If you want to have Aleu’s support give him a position that will enable him to use public funds for his personal needs and do not held accountable for his action. Aleu was the architec of the wild allegations that cuased political tension between Salva and Dr Garang. He was removed from SPLM’s office in Cairo and he turned his removal into anti-Dr Garang.

His recent claims about Dr Garang’s death are the desperate move to gain some windfalls from any side of politics. If his claims discredit SPLM in the eye of marginalized people he may gain some support. If his claims caused disunity within the south he would get million of dollars from NCP.

Aleu and Telar’s claims about honorable Pagan intention to overthrow his excellency Salva Kiir is a foolish madness and a selfish political monouvres to fill tummies. Pagan has never betrayed the marginalized people of the sudan like other people did. He is a firm and courageuos man. The way he is facing the current NCP political encroachment is the way he had been throughout the struggle.

My advice to honorable Pagan is for him to remain bold and firm against the NCP. The masses within the Sudan are with the SPLM current moves. NCP is a fundamentalists party that need total removal for the Sudan to be at peace with itself.

Bona Malwal, Lam Akol and Arthur Akuien (former GOSS minister of finance)are among the bad onions that need to removed from the SPLM party. These people are siding with NCP or against the GOSS or SPLM in one way or another

It is good to see those two traitors in disguise finally sack out of the people’s party, after they have received due process of law. They are working for their own interest and so is Dr. Lam Makol. I have nothing against Dr. Lam Makol, but I think he should have the same fate as those who are in the way and future of South Sudan.

Good job but there is one more person to be removed, the former minister of foreign affairs, Dr. Lam Akol. He should pack his luggage and go home too. I think this is the bold step to weed out all the goons in South Sudan politics. It is not Pagan Amum that was aiming at overthrowing Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit but Aleu and Telar.

This language should speak clearly to the followings:

    1) SPLA appointed ministers. The ministers or leaders must know they represent the people and SPLA party, and any idea for betterment or any work hindering their abilities must be consulted first with the party but not media. The ministers must be aware, they are not different from rest of us who have been and are behind the SPLA and its vision.

    2) Individuals who believe SPLA is there to serve Dinka. Dinka is not different from rest other tribes especially in the South. Any individual out there with this sentiment and who sees the arrogance, self-centered, and thefts in the GOSS as representative of Dinka must reconsider his/her approach.

Despite this tangible moved by the SPLA leadership, circling of Dr. Lam Akol and allowing him to continue his married relationship with the NCP in the Capital is languid and will always cloud SPLA activities.

I think Guys, that is a good move by Kiir Mayaardit, but you know Dr Lam Akol is a good person and the foreigner position that have given to him was really a burden to him. he is a very important person not in the national unity government but in the GOSS. he was supposed to be the ministry of energy and mining of southern sudan gov’t. I think that is his real job that supposed to hold when the Administration was set up, he is good at the profiolios which including the oil and mining. in addition, keep in mind that Lam should not be belamed for the position of foreigner ministry because that was a mistake of the SPLM to accept the foreign position meanwhile the NCP is already messing up the relationship with foreigner policy. how can Dr Lam Akol changed the worse situation that was aggravated by the NCP.

so,sometime we need not to judge our leaders for their mistakes but the conditions must be considered too. most of us run out of patient while make a conclusion without a proof.

those of Aleu and Tiler Deng must hold accountable for disrespect our president and work for their own interest.
    thanks
