Ethiopia-Sudan tourism and trade exhibition held in Gadarif

Dec 19, 2007 (BAHIR-DAR, Ethiopia) — Tourism and Trade Exhibition which has been held for the past 10 days in the eastern Sudan State of Gadarif concluded with mutual experience sharing between the two brotherly people, the Amhara region culture and tourism bureau said.
The joint Tourism and Trade Exhibition was prepared in line with the construction of the Ethiopia- Sudan linking road which was recently inaugurated by leaders and officials from both neighbor nations.
Both countries have exchanged an experience from their trade, historic and natural resources.
“Tens of thousands of Sudanese have visited the exhibition and expressed their wonder on the trade products and photography of Ethiopian tourist sites” the bureau’s human resources development and information management team leader haileyesus flate said.
“Sudanese radio station has also aired wide coverage in Arabic language and in Amharic to Sudanese and Ethiopians who live in Sudan.” the official added.
Over 40 producing firms from Tigrai and Amhara region have took part in the exhibition.
