Ethiopia-Sudan trade exhibition to be held next month

December 25, 2007 (Gonder, ETHIOPIA) — Ethiopia–Sudan trade and bazaar exhibition will be opened in north Ethiopia’s Gondar town next month, the town’s millennium secretariat office disclosed.
The exhibition is aimed at introducing products and natural resources of the region which have high demand in the out side world for investment.
A number of Sudanese and Ethiopian investor from across Ethiopia will attend the occasion and are expected to exchange views and share experiences.
The exhibition is believed to create a ground for investors and stalk holders of both nations to work jointly and it will also help the current traditional trade system of the region in to a modern way by keeping the mutual benefit and healthy trade ties of the two brotherly people.
In the trade exhibition to be opened on Jan 15/2008 some 100,000 peoples from in and around are expected to gather.
Agricultural investment, Agro industry, Timber products, Tourism sectors, incenses Animal and fish investments are included in the trade exhibitions and bazaar.
Recently a tourism and Trade Exhibition has been held for 10 days in the eastern Sudanese State of Gadarif which was concluded with mutual experience sharing and trade agreements.
The joint Tourism and Trade Exhibition held in Gadarif was prepared in line with the construction of the Ethiopia- Sudan linking road which was recently inaugurated by leaders and officials from both neighbor nations.
