Sudan keen to resume strategic dialogue session with France: FM
May 23, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese acting minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq on Monday revealed his country’s keenness and readiness to resume strategic dialogue sessions with France.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the French Ambassador to Sudan, Raja Rabia and her deputy in his office in the capital, Khartoum.
Ambassador Rabia said the aim of the meeting was to call for the resumption of the strategic dialogue sessions between Sudan and France.
The first session of the strategic political dialogue between Sudan and France, which was hosted by France, took place from October14-15, 2021.
Rabia, who attended the first meeting, proposed that the second dialogue session between the two countries be held in September or October 2022.
She further expressed her pleasure to attend the inauguration of the exhibition of Kushite civilization being hosted by the Louvre Museum in Paris, stressing that the French embassy made efforts to promote the exhibition.
The French envoy lauded efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
