Since when did the NCP begin to care about religious rights? Taha himself was one of the masterminds behind the corrupt NIF/NCP policy of creating an Islamic Republic of Sudan after Beshir and his crooks took power in 1989. Pity they are still considered the backwaters of Arab and Islamic civilization! Southern Sudanese will tolerate and respect these Muslim elements in the spirit of the CPA.

mosque or not mosque should be a big deal, many rooms are here not like north.for sure it the matter that the mosque should be build outside town.

so it does not need many people to jump up and say, ‘we are arrested’
have agood atmosphere and walk straight on your path and wish you no 1, 2, 3,said by… and done by…

Your right Mr Akot those Islamic who are creating wrong elements for self expressions should be in eyes of Goss otherwise later people will regret to their own ignorance.I advice those Islamic in South not to nominate the idea of Taha to increase their pressure in South, its good to act social and responsible as everyone else.Because religion has a big point which will create a huge issue among Southern,so please be nice live as you were before dont change yourself like chameleone.we have enough piece of land in South.otherwise if your thinking to add fuel to the fire then its possible to slove it in seconds.be specfic about the policy of Taha planning to buy same votes from us in 2011 but nothing will be done to black Islamic later for sure and hopefully, this is a right time for you to organise and decide deep in you own dreams.

Governor Daniet Akot should not be apologetic or even have guilty conscience on the arrest of muslims. If these muslims acted contrary to the laws, then they must be apprehended. Equally, many mosques elsewhere in the South were built on sites confiscated by the then muslim-jihadists of the PDF without prior consent or wishes of the local communities. Now the GoSS must review the illegal acquisition of land by these muslims. Fellow Southern christians in North Sudan have never had the opportunity to complain otherwise. GoSS will be better advised, to let the local commmunities decide as to whether or not a mosque can be built in their neigbhorhood.
