May 6, 2008 (BOR, Jonglei) – A child, abducted by Murle tribesmen in June 1997, has made surprise return to his parents in Bor, breaking recorded smiles his mother had ever have in a decade.
The young man said at the handing over ceremony Monday May 6 that “I’m very comfortable and very happy to begin a new life with my parents.”
Maluak Adhiek Anyieth Kuol, 15, was abducted at age of four along side another colleague, remembered as Deng, at Abuodit village in Jale Payam – about 30 miles north of Jonglei capital Bor. Maluak says he have being arranging to come home but ages barred.
The latest successful attempt, he says is solely through God’s help. His colleague, Deng’s whereabouts is unclear. Maluak, who spoke through a translator (a victim of child abduction too) said he was sold to a barren woman who named him Aredeng Yatherang at 30 cattle.
Maluak, who lost his dental formulae in Murle’s style, said he was fed fairly well but biological mother has no substitute. “When I went wrong, she insults me along my tribal line and I felt lonely,” he said with miserable smile across his face adding that “prior to that, Deng, who we met in 2004 remained me that our home is in the west (from Murle area).”
He could only remember leaving his mother on bed nursing a new born baby, a description used to find his parents.
Much identification made confirmed Maluak as son to late Mr. Adhiek Anyieth and Mrs. Daruka Akhim Awan.
Present at the handing ceremony, chaired by Bor County Commissioner Abraham Jok Ariing, were head of security and intelligent unit, representatives from state ministry of justice, police, UN agents and close relatives. His closest uncle Chol Dual Kuol also attended the ceremony.
Ariing says “Deng is born again and cordially welcome home.” The commissioner says Maluak’s return does not only prove slavery caused by Murle but a sign of victims’ wiliness to return home.
“I call upon the government of Southern Sudan to speed up disarmament process such our children return home… Other States of Southern Sudan should hear our voice and intervene…. Who should suffer delivering children for the benefits of others?” Ariing’s speech read in parts.
AN APPEAL FOR PEACE TALK
The commissioner of Bor County has once more left room open for any peaceful means of solving Murle tribesmen’s atrocities. He however, maintained that peace talks has failed several time and asked GoSS to take lead.
“Murle members of Jonglei legislative Assembly should have a paramount role for effective resolution,” he says. But there is an element of doubt in the peace implementation. “The peace talks are done by intellectuals and Murle, but the thieves are in bushes,” Ariing further said.
He also dismissed denial made by Pibor County commissioner that his men have not resumed child abduction and cattle raiding since December 2007. “It is a mistake to deny when people are hospitals and thousands of cattle reaching your home annually,” Jok Ariing said.

It really brakes people’s hearts when we hard of a child being in Murle custody for eleven years for no clear reason. Murle are people just like any other tribe in Sudan but there is one thing that I personally fail to understand; why do murle abduct people’s kids?.
Murle learn no lesson and that why they kept on abducting our kids for no reason. Before our stronge youth teaches them a wonderful lesson, I would like to tell those idiots who claimed to be murle leaders that, there is a needs to tells their subjects that time is come when their neighbours will take law into their own hands and destroy you in no time.
Please murle bandits, change before the law change you, you thinks it is late to change but get know that late is better than never.

I know everybody in the world knows Bor as the only people who are created twins with lies. everything they say make no sense. In other word, this is meaningless report of the year, it is also a piece of article that I did not want to answer if some of you didn’t mention my name several times.
I darely want to call that claim of yours a negative make up that don’t bear any base for reading and comment.
However, for everybody to see this as genune claim, I want you to answer the following four(4) questions:-
1. First of all, If any man in the world get a baby from a woman who came from different continent, country or tribe he/she normally want to name that baby with the name that come from his own family members or tribe, now as the strong evidence for your lies, you claim that Murle named this boy as Aredeng Yatherang, is this Murle name? for every southerner who knows Murle names, there is nothing like Aredeng Yatherang in Murle names at all. Is it not better to say that this boy had returned from Mandari or Nuer whom you share some names? Yatherang by way sound even more Taposa then Mundari or even Nuer.
Again,if this boy was taken by Murle, why he didn’t come with real Murle names ?
2.How did this boy even return back to Bor, how did he come to find his relative, we need to know full story that lead him to come all the way from those bad Murle to Bor. Can someone explain that for the world to belief in your false accusation that you shamelessly made?
3. Who are the Murle parent who raised him, we need them by names, village and by the head of the home-state. Who abducted him, we also need that criminal by name, village and the name of the elder of that family. can you or he provide these important answers because he live there enough that he should know all these?
4. Which village was he raised at, the name of the village, the name of the chief and other evidences.
Without sufficient evidents or failure to provide the answers to those questions, we will automatically conclude that, your claims are just hallow compositions generated by your long term hate to Murle people. It is just a make up created to wake up the GOSS to go against Murle masses, but that is not going to help or fulfil your silly and non nationalistic ambitions or in other hand, you are begging for worse and worst consequences waiting you at the walk way.You can continue changing your tactics, but we have only one reply for you and you know it.
Please stop building hatred and let start walking for peace.

We as a tribe have not been very angry before us we do today.We don’t have hiden agendas against Bor, But Bor have long term and permenant resentiment against Murle day and night, this had turned us away from our little reservation of friendship to Bor people right now.
Murle lost a lot of people as result of Bor, Nuer, Taposa, or Anyuak wars, but non of us come to this website and propose false or wish bad lack to either Nuer, Anyuak, Taposa or Bor, but Bor usually tries to cuase problems to Murle from Zero.
Regretefully, Bor have forgotten very important things which matters to the lives of every Souther or their own commmunity.For instant:-
* Bor have forgotten what Arab did to southernrs.
* Bor have forgotten Musseveni who killed Garang.
* Bor have forgotten the hunger that led them to sell kids to Murle.
* Bor have fogrgotten to the diseases which causes them their teeth.
* Bor have forgotten that Murle have thousands of soldiers in the GOSS that they are talking about everyday.
* Bor have forgotten that Sudan is not theirs.
* Bor have forgotten that everybody in south Sudan sees them as liars and bad people.
* Bor have forgotten that Murle can help them when regional problems come.
* Bor have forgotten that obstruction of justics is coming to an end.
* Bor have forgotten that white community love Murle as they love them(Bor).
* Bor have forgotten that they can not finish Murle no matter what.
* Bor have forgotten that one day Murle will ask the international community, government of Sudan and GOss to give Bor and Murle One full month to fight without interference for us to see whether Bor finish Murle or Murle finish Bor for final solution.
We are very tired to see false accusations being accumulated against us every week. Every week Philip Aleu can not rest to bring Murle name as theives, child abductors or raiders. Philip, change your attitude or reap it in surprise we swear our local god, ask Kuol Mojoroth who was in Buma. Remember, if you work against Murle. we will work against you.

I personally don’t beleives whether you really use your five commond sences. How dare could you mantion all the above nonsences?, don’t you reasons before posting rubbish in this public web.
Bor as a tribe has no intention of clearing Murle in Jonglei, if so they could have done that long ago.
Please withdraw your cruel wards before it is late otherwise it will be considered as a serious issue.
