Ethiopian Prime Minister in Juba for bilateral talks

March 12, 2023 (JUBA) – Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed is in Juba for bilateral talks with President Salva Kiir, the presidency said on Monday.

Kiir received the Ethiopian Prime Minister upon arrival at Juba International Airport.

The two leaders are “expected to hold bilateral talks and issues of mutual interest”.

South Sudan and neighbouring Ethiopia have enjoyed good bilateral relations.

Last year, the two countries signed a pact to promote bilateral relations on security.
