It’s all fine, the next move that we want to see SPLM focusing is the issue of Abiei and whether there is a true transparency in oil sharing, Does the SPLM really know how many barrels being produced per a day and how much money the country gets since the demand is globally growing every second?

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM)second convention opened on 15 May,2008 at Nyakuron Culture centre in Juba, the second convention which comprised of the four corners of Sudan was the major one in the history of Sudan. The theme:”No to War,Yes to New Sudan” has put altogether souls and minds of sudan as the power of the marginalised people. But the theme was tempted in Abyei on 15 and 16 May,2008.It meant that the convention was psychologically knocked beyond doubt to prove its strengh and unity.Again might reflect that the enemies of CPA and the second convention excuted that sabotage plan. The Goss on 17 May ,2008 at press conference in Juba, pledged to international community the UNMIS to take care of humanitarian situation in Abyei, the Government also asked for the immediate withdrawal of Brigade 31 from Abyei. In the convention three things among many should be remembered:The SPLM party/Army recieved its Nationality recognition, the term New Sudan is Nationally called,GoSS promised to put all types of corruption behind instead speed for change, LRA must go or sign peace and work for peace in Darfur.

    Dear commarades,
Its may be a suprise that SPLM is gaining ground on the vision of new sudan.Kiir is josua of bible he will lead new sudan people to condisive enviroment where sudanese will get clean water and survive on their own.
the SPLM decision to retained three deputies is way forward to minimised power competations in the SPLM power hunters.
I my advice to the fellow comarades the deputies is that experience in not what happen to you but what you do is what will happen to you.
I alway pray that our positions shall be a committiment to serve the marginalized sudanese people not to creat interest of conflicts.
We are still long way to go to achieved new sudan vision.
SPLM will continue to grow large and large if we can have all the deliverable (new Sudan Vision)at our fingertips.I thanks the SPLM secratariats for the hard work so far done.
    Thanks

It look quite entertaining to say we have had a convension, if leaders were to retain their positions, rather than making election, so what is the use of carrying election or convension?

You have only managed to misuse our little money by camping thousands of persons in what many have seen as retention of powers or positions or lack of democracy. Our government has failed to produce its democratic standards. To me it would have been fair if the government was to hold the confrence since there had never been any change in the system.

Another blunder is the creatioin of the 3 deputy Vice presidents, to me,it makes no sense to have three vice presidents, our govenment in the south is not unitary govenment, even 1 vice president can be enough, so all this will have impact in our small budget.

But that is Goss, so they should take care and let the event not repeat itself, we are so proud of this government but its weaknesses are beyond discussion, so Salva should work with his diputies who are of great importance to the movement for realization of the southern dreams, he should not act irrationally as he does.

    Goss Take care
