Pagan appeals to declare Abyei no military zone for N. Sudanese army

May 23, 2008 (JUBA) – Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) Secretary General called today to declare the disputed Abyei area non military zone after the recent clashes between the northern and southern Sudanese armies in the region.
Pagan Amun Okech was addressing more than ten thousands of protesters who demonstrated on Friday in solidarity with population of the area who suffered from the deadly fighting between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army.
Addressing the gathering at John Garang Musealum, Amun Okech who is also the minister of federal cabinet affairs called upon the Sudanese presidency to declare the disputed Abyei no military zone for SAF and to replace its by the Joint Integrated Unit (JIU).
He said according to the CPA, it’s the JIU together with the United Nations Mission in Sudan peacekeeping forces are the one permitted to be in Abyei areas than SAF.
According to the UNMIS, the fighting in Abyei displaced between 30-5000 people fled the fighting in Abyei — at the centre of a region claimed by both the northern Sudanese government and South Sudan.
Pagan accused the northern Sudan ruling party, the National Congress Party (NCP) of being directly involved in the fighting. He said that SAF infantry brigade 31 sneaked illegally to the area.
The SPLM secretary general called further for the immediate implementation of the conclusions of Abyei Boundary Commission (ABC).
Pagan further appealed to UN and IGAD countries members to press the NCP led government in Khartoum to ensure that CPA is implemented soonest.
He also stressed the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to the suffering women, children and aged persons in Abyei area.
Meanwhile the Governor of central Equatoria state, Clement Wani Konga, on behalf of the politicians, trade unions and civil society organizations in the state presented a petition to the First Vice-President of the Republic and president of the government of southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, for immediate withdrawal of SAF brigade 31 from Abyei areas and replace it with JIU along with UNMIS forces as stipulated in the CPA.
Meanwhile the commander of brigade 31 is brought to book on the live lost in Abyei, the petition urged.
Wani also asked that the two peace partners — NCP together with SPLM — to fully implement the CPA to the letter and spirit because people of Sudan does not want to go back to war again.
The copy of the petition was delivered to the speaker of southern Sudan legislative assembly in order to inform the lawmakers to handle it as an important matter that requires urgency.
The petition requested the Sudanese presidency to take swift measures to stop the killing of innocent people in Abyei. It further threatened to mobilize mass action to divert the water of the Nile River to western Sudan instead of Khartoum.
Otherwise, he says, “it has now come clear to the people of southern Sudan that National Congress party does not want to implement the CPA to the letter including Abyei protocol.”
Governor Konga wondered why Sudanese army Commander in Chief, President Omar Hassan al-Bashir should send Antonov planes; he bought using Sudanese taxpayers including Abyei and Darfuri money to bomb the innocent people of Abyei and Darfuri.
He said the oil in Abyei belongs to southern Sudan and Abyei land belongs to Dinka Ngok; “So whoever is claming Abyei to be part of northern Sudan is mistaken and the people of southern Sudan will at any cost resist such attempt to grape Abyei from southern Sudan.”
On behalf of the people of central Equatoria state, governor Konga donated 150,000 Sudanese pounds including fifty thousand from workers Union of the state to assist the displaced people of Abyei. He also appealed to well-wishers to donate “even second cloth and blankets for the children and women in Abyei who are left with nothing eat and cover themselves with.”
The chairman of Abyei Community in Juba, Hon. Deng Arop said the Sudan Army forces brigade 31 “deliberately” stationed in Abyei areas and carried out mass attacked and killed innocent civilians, women and children, who have just returned from Khartoum to participate in national census and ready to participate in reconstruction and development of their motherland.
Arop said the National Congress Party is not willing to leave Abyei area because of the oil present in the areas hence they are killing people randomly.

ABYEI ON FIRE!
Abyei is naturally and obviously a land that belongs to Nine Dinka Ngok of Deng Majok and Lual Yak, the prominent chiefs of Dinka Ngok. Mr. President Bashir of Sudan is a prophet of doom to all Sudanese people regardless of ethnicity, diversity,religious background, race, geographically and any political affiliations. He is a prophet of doom to Sudanese people because he is a terrorist number one world over and that was why he hosted his evil brother Mr. Osman Bin Laden for six years in Khartoum. During his tenure as terrorist mentor in Khartoum, Mr. Bin Laden worked tirelessly to training the sold out Arab nomads of Messiraya, poorest Arabs in Dongola,some eastern, western and Southern Sudanese to kill us for over two decades in South Sudan. The same trend is continuing. In Sudan, we have in place of Bin Laden as a terrorist called Salah Gosh.(The chiefs of Security SPIES) What Mr. Doom Salah Gosh did in Juba,Malakal and Wau in Western Bhar el Ghazal back in early 1990s against South Sudanese was a capital Crime against humanity, that Hague won’t redeem. Only death penality of Mr.Gosh on a plastic folding papers as he does to people can redeem it!
Today, Abyei is again on Fire, this is because Mr. Salah Gosh is alive. I wish him dead, so that the Sudanese people live in Peace and harmony forever.
Abyei again on Fire; I strongly ask our robust SPLA forces to take a “decisive actions” against SAF. Why are we in the South only respect the CPA when our President Bashir does not respect it as a commander in incharge of SAF?
Sudan Arm Forces using Russian Jet fighters MIg 29 is not the first time they are using them on South Sudanese people. When our doom President Bashir came into power in 1989 on June 30th, he did not want any living creature in Southern Sudan, Darfur, Eastern Sudan and else where he would sense discontent. President Bashir forces of SAF bombarded our cattles, goats,donkeys and camels leave alone human beings as a means to destroy Southern Sudan and those other places to achieve Arabs plan to have a garden of Eden as a flat ground for their Agricultural activities, and richness as supported by our enemies Egyptians, the damn pretenders, who are killing our people on daily account between their so called Isreal and Egypt emnity!
Egypt must now know that the current South Sudanese are not the ones of those days. Look at the best idea that our Central Equatoria State Governor Wani Konga has proposed, that we divert our Nile water to Western Sudan, instead of allowing it to flow to our enemies who are killing us to have this land uninhabited on constant account!
Our hearts pour out to our brothers and sisters in Abyei, those who have died and those living that we shall not let you down and keep watch, we are with you on earth and eternity. Professor Francis Mading Deng must now stop calling Mr. doom President Bashir as a comrade and friend as he uses to believe. Doom Bashir is now the worse enemy to him. Bob Marley, the world famous Rights activist sings that your good friend can be your worse enemy and vice verse. It is time that Francis speaks up about Abyei. Today is innocent Abyei Dinka Ngok women, Children and SPLA soldiers for the cause of our full and total liberation and tomorrow will be Francis neck as long as Salah Gosh lives!
There is no South Sudan without Abyei and there is no CPA without Abyei implemented to the last word for it!

It is not the issue of appealing to presidency,Let your SPLA take their guns and chase away Khartoum’s brigade 31. this time, it sound boring for us to crying about the usual atrocities committed against us by Bashir’s regime.We are government ,let’s do anything that should free us from this useless Arabs.You can’t cry since we have been crying without help three years ago.It is time to teach them unforgetable lesson not us to cry.

May 24, 2008 (Perth)- South Sudan must now accept the defeat, why? because our politicians are now speaking peace at a wrong time. A time when president Omar el Bashier’s troops rain the holy hell down on our women and children. Antonovs were a major phenomena during the war period and I don’t think if South Sudan Army would be in such an unprepared state not to have a modern weaponry that shoot down the antonov,not to mention the antonov of our own. South Sudanese now know the fact that Bashier has never been for peace and he will never be there for peace, he is just there to antagonized the South Sudanese people with his antonovs and his merciless stooges(troops).By this time people will cry but will not help in any way as long as Bashier lives peace will always be difficult to sustain but the question is, will South Sudan be prepared for such eventualities when they are now busy developing corruption in Juba? This the time to flex our muscles with Khartoum government that the time is ripe to protect our people. May almighty God rest the souls of those who lost their lives in the cause of protecting South Sudan.
