Saudi investments in Sudan amounts to 1.6b dollars
KHARTOUM, Feb 29, 2004 (SUNA) — The total Saudi investments in Sudan amounted to around 1.6b dollars till 2002, said a report by the Arab Corporation for Investment Guarantee.
The report indicated that these investments include the Kingdom’s shares in Kenana Sugar Company and the Arab Corporation for Development and Animal Resources along with investments in other agricultural and service projects.
The report also reflected the volume of commercial exchange between the two countries, which is around 1,244m Saudi riyals in the year 2002, including oil products.
