“The attackers arrived in three vehicles around three o’clock on Sunday morning and they ransacked the premises of the NGO”Abu Sharati” said.

He added that they burnt around 220 chaises and destructed 23 sewing machines besides other tools used by the NGO for the education of children and women.

He regretted the attack, adding that this center provides hope to the IDPs because they educate kids and provide training for adults in order to enable them to engage small business.

The refugee spokesperson said if the attackers want to dismantle the camp and force the IDPs to leave it, they should know that such organisation works to give them to the means to become good citizens after the peace.”

The repeated attacks against Darfur largest camp of Kalma, had pushed the UNAMID to designate this camp among the firsts to protect because incidents of rape and violence there have been among the highest.
