Darfur URF welcomes ICC move against Sudanese President

Today, Sunday 14 of July 2008 is an important long waited day in history of Darfur ,Sudan and all the persecuted Nations in the world .For ,the International Criminal Courts (ICC)

Persecutor Luis Ocampo is going to issue indictment against the Head of Sudan regime Omer Hassan Al Bechir and list of his perpetrators who assisted him to commit genocide, crimes against humanity and violations of the international humanitarian law in Sudan and Darfur in Particular ,with the view to bring them before the international justice .

URF, would like to announce the following;

1. URF welcomes this historical decision which considers it victory for the international justice and will

2. Omer Hassan el Bechir and all his NCP collaborators have lost the credibility and legitimacy.

3. El Bechir should visit ICC HQs and his Vice president Salva Kiir Myardit should assume power for a transitional period which enables (him) to bring peace in Darfur

4. URF, appeals to all the opposition leaders, students, civil society, women, professionals, and all concerned parties to support this suggestion.

5. URF, strongly appeals to all the African Union, United Nations, Security council, European Union Arab League, organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and all international, Regional and Local NGOs who vigorously defended Human Rights in Darfur to stand firm and support this move.
It seems that we are at a new era of respect for human Rights are shinning in the horizon
