Sudan SPLM names representatives in Darfur peace initiative

August 7, 2008 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) pledged support to an initiative made by the Sudanese president Omar Hassan Al-Bashir known as ‘People of Sudan initiative’.

SPLM Deputy Secretary General for northern Sudan, Yasir Arman told the official news agency (SUNA) that Pagan Amum and his deputy Abdel-Aziz Al-Hilu will represent the ex-southern rebel movement as part of this initiative.

Al-Bashir announced the new initiative following the announcement by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Luis Moreno-Ocampo that he is seeking an arrest warrant against Sudan’s head of state.

Ocampo filed 10 charges: three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of murder. Judges are expected to take months to study the evidence before deciding whether to order Al-Bashir’s arrest.

The initiative aims to hold a general conference to end Darfur crisis. All the Sudanese political forces and the different components of Darfur including the non-signatories rebels are supposed to be invited to participate in it.

The preliminary committee of this recent initiative is headed by the Presidential advisor Sadiq al-Hadi al-Mahdi.

Thanks to SPLM by showing their concerns to the massacre in Darfur however I responding with two different views toward what Mr Bashir calls Darfur initiative. First all will this initiative be materialist and bring hope to Darfur? Secondly are the southerners going to the meeting as the matter of going or did they have the side on this initiative? It will be more then consuming of time for Mr. Amum to spend his time sitting on the table with holocaust master and warmongers who is wanted for crimes like Bashir and his top man who are paying less attention to the suffering of people in Darfur late alone the situation in the south. To my views I am encouraging the SPLM and other political force in Sudan to take this as the serious matter and bring the political solution to end the cruelty situation in Darfur. However the political monopoly control by Bashir will not be the solution to both problem in the south and Darfur therefore I airing my concern to comrade Pagan Amum to do more and give no further chances to this dictator Bashir otherwise the country’s leadership will be hold tyrannically by Arabs terrorist for all time. And remember, Kiir is the puppet that needs more time to learn how to say the word (no) because we are in the time to say no rather then yes to all rubbish from Bashir. Good work from you Mr. Pagan to give up the dirty politic in Khartoum and choose to stay behind in the south to deal with our affairs.

    Mr. Kiir Majock

If you have difficulty to spell your name correctly as all Dinka do, which magician do think can help you to understand real politics. In our Dinka of South Sudan, the name you have horribly writen as Majock is writen as Majok, please feel free to accept help.

To brief you, I am somebody who need clear political path, I don’t want retarded people like you to keep on confusing southerners by running between unity and separation, hating Arab and licking arab boots. Nuban and all those lingerers who pretend to southerners by mouth are worst than pure arabs. They were the ones who killed southerners more than real arabs.

    Please get change.

    God bless.
