In Sudan, soccer teams are a collection of all faces, playing in the name and honor of the country. Football goes against the barriers of politics of identity and region and this was witnessed when several Sudanese officials and business communities, professional groups, individuals and friends showed up at the reception.

Mojahid Mohamed Ali, a member of the board of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) in charge of  international games told the media on Thursday that the Sudanese teams will play against Libya in their second round of the preliminaries against Al-Nasir and Al-Ahly slated for August 24 and 25 August 2024 in the capital, Juba.
