Young Sudanese shot dead as he was crossing to Israel
November 3, 2008 (ISMAILIA) — A Sudanese young man was shot dead by the Egyptian police on the border with Israel on Monday as he tried to cross to Israel illegally.
A police patrol saw the man, Mustafa Hamid Fadl, 20, trying to get through the barbed wire on the border and ordered him to stop, opening fire when he did not.
Fadl died shortly after being taken to Rafah hospital.
His death brings to 26 the number of African migrants killed by Egyptian security on the border with Israel this year. Most if them are Sudanese from Darfur region.
On October 22, Egyptian police shot dead a young Sudanese who tried to enter Israel at 13 km (eight miles) south of the Rafah crossing point between Egypt and Gaza.

I believe ones life has much valuable for the future of SUDAN, that has nothing to exchange with his death than the policy of political calamity which Egyptian government bare with… It is the sad thing a mans life for the future of SUDAN has totally destroyed! He or she might be a next great future leader, who knows! Again, the Mexican border police close to USA never brings this kinds of tragedy for their life. The US police simply send them back to Mexico, but they will just try to cross the border again and again, for it is not the situations which Mexican governments carries on! It might be a safe heaven for them.
I totally condemn this is shouldn’t be done like this!
God I Believe open for everyone who wants to Believe for the LIFE in HIM, eternity.
The Egyptian security should arrest them alive and then send them back home. It is his or her will to attempt another crossings, but taking his/her life is not your business. All of all, God controls everything!
