Ethiopian painters organize art exhibition in Khartoum, Sudan
Addis Ababa, January 1, 2009 (Addis Ababa) – Ethiopian painters organized an art exhibition in Khartoum, Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
The event was organized in collaboration with Blue Nile Friends Art Group, a group established by Ethiopian and Sudanese artists, according to the ministry.
The nine-day exhibition organized in Rashid Art Center, drew many art lovers and spectators.
Khartoum’s culture and information minister director general also visited the exhibition of the Ethiopian painters, Alem Teklu, Kerima Ahmed and Yonas Sahele.
The exhibition played vital role in depicting cultural relations between Ethiopia and the Sudan.
The exhibition was the second of its kind, according to the statement.
