Sudan President discuss Gaza with Syrian President and Palestinian Hamas
January 12, 2008 (DAMASCUS) – Sudanese President, Omer Al-Bashir discussed with his Syrian counterpart and Hamas leadership Arab efforts to stop the Israeli military offensive in Gaza Strip.
Al-Bashir arrived today to the Syrian capital to show his solidarity with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) which controls Gaza Strip since June 2007.
Al-Assad, the current president of the Arab League and Al-Beshir tackled the ongoing efforts by to hold an Arab summit over the situation in Gaza aiming to pressurize Israel to stop the military attack and pull out its troops as well as to lift the blockade and open crossing points into Gaza.
Arab leaders will meet on the Gaza crisis alongside a planned economic summit in Kuwait on January 19-20.
Last week Arab foreign ministers failed to persuade the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution for the immediate cessation of hostilities and the withdrawal of the Israeli troops. However, the Council called for a lasting ceasefire that has been ignored by Israel and Hamas
Al Bashir also met with the Damascus based leadership of Hamas. He held a meeting with Khaled Meshaal, the leader of Hamas on the latest developments of the situation in the Gaza.
The meeting, which lasted about three hours, discussed the serious situation to the Gaza Strip as result of the Israeli attack, which entered its third week.
More than 900 Palestinians have died and 3,950 have been wounded since Israel launched an offensive to halt Hamas rocket attacks on the Jewish state on Dec. 27.

Look at this foolish president of Sudan al Bashir assuming himself to discuss with what he call his syrian counterpart and Hamas leadership arabs to stop the offensive in Gaza srip.How can you help stop the crisis between Israelis and palestinian while you are unable to solve the Darfur crisis that has almost taken five years.
The problem of Israeli and palestinian is not a current problem that concerns al bashir or arab league. This problem started long time ago with those people we’ve found in the religion like David and Goliath. So, bashir come back to Suadn and wait for ICC indictment that is awaiting for you. Israelis have the right to defend their citizens from rockets that are fired into southern Israel.
