Salva Kiir cancels his trip to Tokyo

March 9, 2009 (TOKYO) – The Sudanese First Vice-President has cancelled his trip to Japan where he was expected to attend a meeting on Africa security and meet government officials.

In a press statement issued today, the Japanese foreign ministry said that Kiir’s visit which “was scheduled from March 9 (Mon) to 12 (Thu), has been cancelled at the request of the Sudanese side.”

A cabinet minister will replace Salva Kiir in a symposium on Japan’s efforts to promote peace and security in Africa that will take place on Wednesday 11. Tokyo didn’t provide the name of the official.

The cancellation of the visit comes after the ICC judges to issue an arrest warrant against the Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir who is accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes.

The world court said will seek the cooperation of UN security Council and the state members of the UN to arrest the Sudanese President if he does not cooperate with the international justice.

Good move Mr President. Don’t be their messager in foreign countries. Keep it down in Juba. You have a lot of time ahead of you to do so. Keep yourself busy with reforming or expelling corrupted official, insecurity in southern state. Stop looking at Khartoun because we(southerners)are looking out for you.

    TO H;E SALVA KIIR,

Thanking you in advance for cancelling your mission to Tokyo as far as the topic is concern pertaining an arrest of Omer Bashir, however, the world including the Icc wanted to blackmail and sell your ideas to get advantage of Southern army who are well equip to be installed to capture mr Bashir as long Salva Kiir would signed the contract of indictment regardless of whatsoever may happen in Sudan., moreever, the Icc had no power interm of troops as a such , ICC depend on Africa Union ,thus,Be very keen mr president Kiir,i would suggest to say this is like installing a ring-bell on the cat but, later on no either Icc nor UN security council may take an action to arrest Bashir. thanks.
