Kiir says Ngundeng’s dang a symbol of resistance

May 20, 2009 (BENTIU) — President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, told South Sudan chiefs and kings conference in Bentiu, Unity state capital, that the return of Prophet Ngundeng Bong’s ‘dang’ is a symbol of resistance by the people of South Sudan.

More than 1,500 kings and chiefs of South Sudan’s ten states, Abyei, Nuba Mountains and Southern Blue Nile have been meeting in Bentiu this week to share ideas on how to contain the growing insecurity in the region.

Kiir said the people of South Sudan have a long history and power to resist oppression.

He briefed the kings and chiefs on CPA implementation and told them to enlighten the people on the upcoming referendum on separation in 2011.

Kiir’s remarks on Ngundeng’s rod in public were the first since the rod was returned to South Sudan on 16th May.

Thank you Kiir. You’re the right president who will lead southerners to an independent South Sudan. My advice to unionists, it seem that you’re losing now. I can’t believe that SPLM is dying. The bright days of southern Sudanese are still ahead of them when they gain their independent. There is no more New Sudan. But, there is new South Sudan where corruption will be fought to death, tribalism will be eliminated, and a path to democracy. That will be the new South Sudan. Right now southerners should be calling for a new South Sudan. New South Sudan wayee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ngundeng Wayee!!!!!!!!!!

See this junglese/dinkas leader has copied from, last week I talk of symbolic and today he is turning it into his own words. How can you prove yourself as a capable leader if you can’t form your own imagination? Sorry Mr Kiir, I see that you can’t even rule your mad children (dinkas), how can we rely on you as a candidate for 2011. Unless candidate for $$$ and corruption not for peace to the southerners. If you agree with me that, Dang is a symbolic object for us, so why do you reveal your jealousy which is obvious in your children in the streets of Juba, Showing cruel faces and acting stupidly. I don’t think that Nuer will personal offer you a credit although you try to express negative words, but hiding the true in your hearts will never take you anywhere. Just simple and easy that your children copy this madness from the way they have been brought up and some learnt from their bad treatment by Arabs.

Died Dinkas is the best one!

Please Logic where is ERM? Help us to get rid of Dinkas we are tired and ashamed of Dinkas behaviors.

People see what is happening in Dinka’s mother land can you believe human being can do such things??

Logic once you start ERM, ensure that you will get big support and it will take only 21 days to finish the whole Dinkas in Equatoria.

Hope to hear from you brother.

Ngundeng’s prophercies should only be treated as a symbol of good mutual understanding among southerners and must not be misinterpreted to mislead people. We must remain united that is key for the good of future independent South Sudan.
