Egyptian, Sudanese presidents discuss Arab summit in Cairo
CAIRO, April 4, 2004 (MENA) — Egypt’s President Husni Mubarak has held talks with his Sudanese counterpart Umar al-Bashir in Cairo on the holding of the next Arab summit, Egyptian news agency MENA reported on 4 April.
The discussions also covered bilateral relations and the latest developments in Sudan, the agency added.
Mubarak and Al-Bashir started their talks with a private session and then held an expanded session attended by delegations from both sides, the agency added.
Egyptian Prime Minister Atif Ubayd and the ministers of agriculture, defence, information and foreign affairs attended the talks, MENA said.
