Sudanese president receives Jordanian king in Khartoum

KHARTOUM, April 5, 2004 (KUNA) — The Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II arrived ‏
‏here on Monday on a two-day visit, accompanied by a high-ranking ministerial ‏‏delegation.‏

‏King Abdullah was received by the Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and ‏
‏high-ranking Sudanese officials at Khartoum International Airport.‏

‏In press statements Al-Bashir said that he will explore with the Jordanian ‏
‏Monarch a number of Arab and international issues of mutual interest, and the ‏
‏means to boost bilateral relations between the two countries.‏

‏The Sudanese President confirmed that the visit will push forward relations ‏
‏between the two countries in all aspects, praising the Jordanian supportive ‏
‏stands.‏

‏The Jordanian Monarch will be accompanied by Minister of the Royal Palace ‏
‏Prince Ali Ben Al-Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and ‏
‏Trade Dr. Mohammed Al-Halaiqa, Minister of Planning and International ‏
‏Cooperation Dr. Qasem Awadallah and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled ‏
‏Al-Sedayrah.
