Sudanese president receives Jordanian king in Khartoum
KHARTOUM, April 5, 2004 (KUNA) — The Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II arrived
here on Monday on a two-day visit, accompanied by a high-ranking ministerial delegation.
King Abdullah was received by the Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and
high-ranking Sudanese officials at Khartoum International Airport.
In press statements Al-Bashir said that he will explore with the Jordanian
Monarch a number of Arab and international issues of mutual interest, and the
means to boost bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Sudanese President confirmed that the visit will push forward relations
between the two countries in all aspects, praising the Jordanian supportive
stands.
The Jordanian Monarch will be accompanied by Minister of the Royal Palace
Prince Ali Ben Al-Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and
Trade Dr. Mohammed Al-Halaiqa, Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Dr. Qasem Awadallah and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled
Al-Sedayrah.
