S. Sudan presidential motorcade struck by vehicle

By Isaac Vuni

June 4, 2009 (JUBA) — The Southern Sudanese presidential motorcade was today struck by a hit-and-run vehicle while leaving an office compound.

The suspected offender, an ethnic Pojulu named Richard Males, is an information technician of southern Sudan radio. He ran away leaving behind a woman now helping police for investigations.

This is the second time the presidential motorcade has been involved in such an accident with first being on May 24, 2009, when the president and speaker of the region’s parliament were going to visit Fr. George Kinga Longoko, presidential advisor on religious affairs.

This is how risky the situation in our country. Nobody is safe even the well protected elites. It is difficult to control the streets of a country that has no traffic rules.

What is wrong actually in Juba, Sudan?
Why is this guy not captureed by the police and investigated him? If people know it that it is the second time for Mr Richard Males to do that incident, then there is a need for this person to be sentence in jail, otherwise he will do a lot of serious problems to the people.

Who knows maybe he was sent by the Arabs people from the Northern Sudan to do suicide in Southern Sudan.

Motorcade struck by vehicle! What kind of hike is that? People wants to kill themselves for unknown reasons. I think there is someone steering the boat within Juba City of Southern Sudan. It might be an Arab spy personal or someone bribed by the Arabs people from the Northern Sudan in order to do cold-war on Southern Sudanese presidential leaders.

    DEAR SOUTHERNERS,

Let be no doubt, the Southern Sudan is full of weak heart people, taitors and hungry powers. If this is not a pure inccident then it will be good so that Mr. president will opens his eyes clearly.

For how long did Kiir Mayardit forget about his fellow Juunibins who are very easy to be brain wash or bribed. Kiir should be aware that our brothers in North are working day and night to jeopardise this peace agreements ( CPA ) by all mean.

You cann’t find any single person in Northern Sudan and the Arabs world who is happy about independency of Southern Sudan. They wants Sudan to remain united so that we can lives as second class citizens in our own Country. With their dayly song Southerners can not rule themselves.

To Mr. Nal this culture of talking food food food that let you moved between SPLA/M and Khartuom Government because of money. So your ability of thinking is aways weaking by habit of food to be eaten which I views as a died one.

    May God bless you

    Dear readers,

As much as we welcome any fresh news, we must also treat it with caution. Journalistic code of ethics in reporting is very important so that we don’t mislead the reader. Mr. Isaac Vuni in his reporting did not present all the facts as they happened. Yes an accident took place, in fact the lead motorcycle which heralds the coming of the motorcade collided with said driver. The motorcylist was bruised and the main motorcade passed without any commotion.

The driver ran away because as is the practice here, it would be suicide to wait and be pounded into pulp with no questions asked. The driver reported to Malakia police station. So much for the conspiracy theories and conclusions. It was just a normal accident without any sinister motive.

    Mr. Isaac please be ethical.

    regards,

    Achel
