Sudan signs MOU with Chinese agricultural company
June 20, 2009 (KHARTOUM) – The state of Khartoum and the Chinese company for agricultural development signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding a future partnership.
Sudan official news agency (SUNA) said that the company was one of the participants in the agriculture symposium from June 14 to 18.
The MOU between the two sides provides details of a possible partnership which includes production and marketing of meat, fish, animal food, enhanced seeds.
Furthermore the Chinese side will provide agricultural technology and experience in that area.
A formal agreement is to be crafted within six months, SUNA reported.
