The UAE official news agency (WAM) said that the move comes in response to a request by the Sudanese ministry of health.
The head of the UAE Red Crescent Authority Hamdan Bin Zayed said in a statement that his country “is keen to adopt the humanitarian initiatives to assist victims and sick in times of crisis”.
He said that the UAE leadership wants to provide relief to the needy across the globe.
The Emirates Mobile hospital project will use South Sudan as its first stop in mid-July before moving to Morocco and Lebanon, WAM said.
