Deputy Gov. Hussein Mar Nyuot told the incoming leaders to stand for challenges. Nyriol and Uror outgoing commissioner were also praised for extraordinary show of democracy by phoning their successors and congratulated them.

Maker Lual Kuol is the new commissioner of Bor County set to address “the problematic land issue” and the outspoken relocation of headquarters to Werkok. Commissioner Maker replaces Abraham Jok Ariing.

Tut Pout Ngang takes over from Gatlauk Reath Kuel in Uror County. Mr. Reth congratulated Pout and stayed with him over the weekend in display of full cooperation with the new administration.

In Nyirol, Chuol Dieu replaces William Kuol Chol. The former commissioner also congratulated Chuol prior to the swearing ceremony for his appointment. Deputy Gov. Mar encouraged the democratic behaviors of the former commissioners and challenge others to follow.

A farewell party in honor of former commissioner Abraham Jok Ariing was organized on Tuesday evening at his former residential home.

Speaking on behave of the new leaders, Bor Commissioner Maker Luak Kuol said “With the help of the State government, the help of our people, we will deliver good services to our people.”

Speaker Jodi Boyoris, State Attorney Mayen Hoka and State ministers and various dignitaries attended the 30 minute ceremony at the council of ministers’ hall.

Giving remarks at the closing of the legal entry of commissioners to the State government, Deputy Gov. Hussein Mar Nyuot outlined challenges facing each county with insecurity and stranded development at the forefront.

Bor County, however, as a county hosting state headquarters, adds land distribution and quitting Bor Town for Werkok it loads.

“You [Bor commissioner] have issue of land which is very problematic,” Mar said.

Since the peace return to Sudan, Jonglei is known as a region of tribal fighting and child abduction.
No mega progress has been registered in health, education fields and road network. Insufficient budget and misappropriation of public funds has kept the future so dark. Hovered, the incoming commissioners are seen as competent but unlikely to bring wider changes.

New minister of land and commissioner of Canal County are yet to be sworn.

Abraham Jok Ariing, like other outgoing commissioners joins the South Sudan army with a promotion to a rank of Major General. William Kuol and Gatluak Reth are promoted a rank of Brigadiers. Eng. James Yor Chol of Canal County — whose successor has is not yet announced, is promoted a rank of colonel.

People as Hussein Mar Nyuot are very dangerous to the security of Southern Sudan, they shouldn’t be trusted that much,as they can collaborate with enemy given to their deceptive names, they call themselves with muslim names but claim to be christians whenever they are with Southerners!!

To me, such people are either lost or confused, they shouldn’t be taken seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
