Accused killer of woman, children is captured in Lakes

August 31, 2009 (RUMBEK) – A man who killed a pregnant woman together with her four children in Makudur Payam of Wulu County of Lakes state was captured and is now facing trial investigation, a state official affirmed.
The Lakes state Deputy Governor and Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement agency, Mr. David Nok Marial Buot, was speaking in the forum of Dhiei Youth and Development Association (DYDA) in Rumbek East County of Lakes state on Saturday.
Before an audience of mostly youth and also state government officials, he claimed that the accused killer, Madal Majok was taken into custody last week in his hometown of Rumbek East County by a state security patrol team.
Madal killed the pregnant woman together with her four children as they made there way home in March 2009, as a form of revenge, according to the source.
Meanwhile, a Lakes state policeman in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Rumbek affirmed that the unit would capture more accused of murdering.
Regarding the setting of Mr. Marial’s speech, the Dhiei sub-clan is an integral part of the Athoi which is made up of three sections known as Thuyic, Gony and Dhiei. Dhiei itself, like the other co-sections, consists of fourteen large clans inhabiting Cuei-cok and Malek-Agok payams of Rumbek East County.
Earlier this year, in July 2009, the Dhiei youth set up a local youth and development association that will advocate for peace in the payams and bomas of Rumbek East County, which was one of the most troubled counties of the strife-torn state.

Yeah..this man has to be tried and he must face the maximum of law. If this accused is dealt with lawfull without conflict of interest, it will discourage more of the occuring random killing in the State.
